The Office's Greg Daniels adapting another British comedy An adaptation from the British series, Friday Evening Dinner stories the Shabbat dinners of the traditional Jewish family, who aren't always devout. Free Airline Wing alum Janney will have Barbara, who's starting to succumb towards the immaturity of her all-male family. Monk's Shalhoub will portray Gene, a tough-of-hearing upon the market food chemist who's socially inept. Directed by Ken Kwapis, the pilot is going to be executive-created by Daniels and Howard Klein. The British version airs on BBC America and was restored for any second season captured.
